Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen wants to be Tom Brady on the field.
But perhaps not off of it.
On Sunday in Buffalo’s season finale, Allen and the Bills (13-3) stomped the Miami Dolphins, 56-26. The starting QB only played in the first half of the game but even when he left, the Bills kept rolling.
Among those in the second half that kept the beating on was running back Antonio Williams. After one of his two touchdown runs, we got a glimpse of Allen really, really not trying to be the former Patriots quarterback turned Buccaneer.
On a few occasions in his career in New England, cameras caught funny images of Brady looking for high-fives on the Pats sideline.
There’s a video:
And a meme:
Considering Brady is wearing two different jerseys in the images above, he has a thing for not going all in on the gesture.
Allen won’t be caught dead doing that ever.
Back to Sunday, Allen went for the high-five. And held. He persevered. He… literally followed Williams along the Buffalo sideline until he saw him.
