NEW YORK -- On the heels of playing 46 minutes in his first game in 10 days, Nets star guard James Harden is available to play in Game 6 against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday. Meanwhile, All-Star guard Kyrie Irving remains sidelined with a right ankle sprain.
Irving will not travel to Milwaukee with the team, Nets coach Steve Nash said Wednesday. Instead, he will continue to get treatment in Brooklyn. He has not yet advanced to doing any on-court work, Nash said.
Harden injured his hamstring in Game 1 of the Nets' conference semifinal series against the Bucks on June 5. He was out for over a week with what the team was calling hamstring tightness.
Irving sprained his ankle in Game 4 against the Bucks. The organization is preparing for the possibility that Irving won't return this series, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
