Stephen Curry’s immediate plea to Warriors after losing to Bucks, falling 0-2 - ClutchPoints

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors suffered another defeat on Christmas Day, as they fell to Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday. That’s now back-to-back losses for the Dubs to open their 2020-21 campaign, and to make matters worse, both came in the form of blowout defeats.

This development has resulted in Curry to come out with a rather desperate plea for his team.

After Friday’s embarrassing 138-99 defeat, the Warriors star expressed the need for a clear sense of urgency for Golden State:

Stephen Curry top-scored for the Warriors against the Bucks, finishing with 19 points on an inefficient 9-of-17 from the floor. The former back-to-back MVP also logged four rebounds, six assists, and a steal, but he also went 2-of-10 on his attempts from distance. Curry was Golden State’s best player on the evening, but it was far from a stellar performance from the 32-year-old.

Christmas Day’s historic 39-point loss follows the Warriors’ opening night defeat against Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets. Golden State suffered a 125-99 defeat against a new-look Nets side, and at this point, there’s no denying that the Dubs are not a very good team.

As Curry expressed, the Warriors need to get a win at the soonest possible time. They will be presented with an excellent opportunity to do so on Sunday when they take on the Chicago Bulls in the United Center. The Bulls are far from a playoff team, so it should be winnable game for the Dubs.

Then again, with Golden State’s current form, it wouldn’t come as a complete shock if Chicago pulls off an upset against a struggling Dubs side.
