2021 Ryder Cup scores, results: Live coverage, standings, leaderboard today for singles on Day 3 - CBSSports.com

Two days are in the books with one to go at the 43rd Ryder Cup, and the United States is positioned as a heavy favorite to capture the biennial trophy. After grabbing a 6-2 lead on Friday, the Americans built on their momentum Saturday with a combined 5-3 score between the two sessions and now take an 11-5 lead into Sunday singles. It is the largest lead for the U.S. entering singles competition at the Ryder Cup since 1975.

The Americans have maintained that they will enter the final day without a celebration in mind, but no team in Ryder Cup history has ever overcome a deficit as large as the one the Europeans are staring down. (Though, it's worth noting that a 10-6 deficit has twice been surmounted in singles.) Sunday is shaping up to be a good one with singles play that may well turn from competition to coronation. The U.S. will send its best out for the final day and most of its players will be favored against the Europeans as they try to retain.

CBS Sports will be with you the entire way Sunday updating this story with the latest scores, analysis and highlights from Day 3 singles at the Ryder Cup.
